Stop! Don't buy that $100 copy of Zone of the Enders 2: Second Runner off of Ebay just yet. Yeah, it's rare, I know. But it's about to get a lot easier to find.

Today Konami announced plans to reissue many of their classic Playstation 2 titles in the UK, due to popular demand.

When manufacturing a second-run, some publishers have been known to switch the original manual for a paper insert, among other cost-cutting measures. Not a huge deal to most gamers, except for the ones who see their games as investments. A Konami spokesperson assured collectors about the authenticity of these reissues:

"They are proper reissues. Konami has put them out at budget price because of demand. They are re-manufactured. They are ours."

Konami's second-run will include Suikoden Tactics, Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner, Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, followed by Silent Hill 2, 3 and 4 at a later date. But finding one of these games might not be as easy as popping into your local entertainment store.

"We've manufactured certain amounts depending on the title, and they're being bought by wholesalers so will likely pop up in independent rather than chain stores," said the spokesperson.

If you live in Europe, good hunting! The rest of us better start modding, importing, or crossing our fingers for a multi-region release.
