"Green Cap" Comes to 3D Dot Game Heroes

According to Andriasang, 3D Dot Game Heroes is a "self admitted rip on Zelda, down to the scrolling system, dungeon design, and selection of sub weapons." Furthermore, the game has a character edit mode, which makes it obvious what a lot of people are likely to do with their playable characters.
But the thing is, they won't even have to, because the developers at From Software have already done it.
As detailed at Hachimaki, some 2channel posters received a special bonus disc when purchasing 3D Dot Game Heroes from Yodobashi Camera today. The disc includes limited edition character data files, which can be easily copied over to your PS3 and imported into the game.
Other characters on the disc which were also made available on the official site include "Dracula," "White Thing," "Box Man," "Tank," and "Midori Boushi," which translates into "Green Hat," and gives you this familiar face:

All things considered, one can only wonder if and how much trouble they can get in for this. Andriasang adds "I wonder if Box Man is Solid Snake..." With the game "definitely coming to North America," we can also wonder how much-- if any-- of this we'll get for ourselves.
