WWE Superstars Talk SmackDown vs. Raw 2010, Plus the Making of with R-Truth and Cryme Tyme

While we're working on our review of WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010 (expect the PS3/360 version's early next week, if all goes well; blame late delivery for that one), WWE.com has assembled some of the Superstars from SmackDown and Raw (what? No ECW?) to tell people what they think about the game, and moreso, what it's like to actually be in a game.
"I'm one of the biggest gamers on the roster," said reigning Superstar Challenge Champion Kofi Kingston. "I owned every game of the franchise and would always create myself."
"They did a great job with all the movements and facial features," he adds, "especially with it being fully customizable. [THQ] gets better and better every year."
Even the Glamazon, Beth Phoenix, is excited about appearing in the new title. "I'm a bit of a gaming nerd," the former Women's Champion confessed, adding that among her favorite games are WrestleMania for the NES and No Mercy for Nintendo 64. "To be part of the wrestling evolution in the gaming world is pretty awesome."
To see what else Kofi and Beth have to say, as well as Evan "Air" Bourne, Natalya Neidhart, and Dolph Ziggler, check out the full piece on WWE.com.
And once you've finished reading that, they also have a (non-embeddable) video of the making of the game with R-Truth and your boys, Cryme Tyme. It's neat to see them performing in the motion capture suits for their entrances, moves, and other such things with a mock ring, steps, and even crowd barricade, all with a nifty split-screen that shows the finished product alongside it.
