Gran Turismo 5: Prologue's release date has been a shaky affair. First we though it would be here before Christmas, but that was the Japanese version. Then we reported that March would see the official release, but we have been proven wrong again. Hey, even we can't be right all the time (despite the constant claims otherwise).
According to Sony PR themselves, April 17 will be the North American release date for GT5: Prologue. The game will be available both on Blu-ray Disc and as a PSN download for $39.99, with the Blu-ray carrying the added advantage of an exclusive behind-the-scenes feature, thematically titled "Beyond the Apex."
The video will feature a look into Polyphony's creation of the game, making the Blu-ray version a must have for GT fanatics. Check out our recent preview of the game, and keep it here for more news.
