With GDC right around the corner it is expected for some of the bigger announcements to be leaked out earlier than planned, and it seems that Sony has leaked some new information surrounding Home and the inevitable In-game XMB feature.
Sony had updated the Official PlayStation site with some new information regarding Home but it was quickly removed several hours later. Luckily, NeoGAF member Clinton514 was able to take a screen-cap of the site, which tells of several features within Home itself. But more interesting is that the site also makes a direct reference to the in-game XMB.
Currently, PS3 owners cannot access their Friends List and Messaging features while in a game session, like Live users can. However, before the site was taken down there was a Headline titled: Friends and Messaging that stated: "Talk to others during gameplay, say hello anytime you're online, or have a video chat with an Eye camera, USB camera, or headset."
On the current PlayStation Network section of the site it doesn't state all those features, which means that Sony is preparing an update in the future.
Sony has promised that we would see an in-game XMB in the future; however, with GDC right around the corner, we can expect to hear some big news then.
