Firmware 2.30 Goes Live, Upgraded Store Lives

The latest PlayStation 3 firmware has gone live and is ready for downloading. The main highlight of the firmware is the newly restored and redesigned PlayStation Store. The new PlayStation Store sports a new sleeker design making the shopping experience more enjoyable. To commemorate the new store design, Sony will be releasing GT5 Prologue this Thursday on the PSN. If GT5 Prologue wasn't enough, the Metal Gear Solid Online Beta will also be going live later this week.

Make your PS3 happy and start downloading the new firmware.
