It has been quite a long time since developer Eidos has given out any information regarding their upcoming release and sequel: Deus Ex 3. However Eidos just might be coming around to taking a more furthering approach to this title and in Czech gaming magazine some new and very interesting information has been released. First and foremost, the game will be released on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, has no firm release date and will serve as a prequel to the first title that was released around eight and a half years ago. As stated in the IGN article, "Deus Ex 3 will be a world coming apart as cybernetic technology creates a new form of racism, between those enhanced with nanotechnology and those who are not."
Thanks to a rough translation of the article on the Eidos Forums, we have plenty of new tidbits to chew over.

The game is said to have multiple endings, but for obvious reasons none of which will change the future leading into the first Deus Ex title. The story seems entertaining enough if done right but some of the new game abilities could add some extra layers to this sequel. Some of these include having a grappling ability by shooting wires from your characters palm and having X-ray vision, both enticing enough to keep me interested (they had me at cybernetic technology).
The article in Eidos's forums which is mentioned by IGN makes it clear that this time around the series will take less of an RPG approach (though elements of which will still remain) and will be making it more of a pure action game which will include elements of squad battle.
Even with all of this information very little is known about this title, but as someone who has spent only a small amount of time with the franchise I'm definitely keeping my eyes on this one.
